Thank you for visiting the site of the West Indian Softball Association (W.I.S.A.). Founded in 1998, this non-profit association is being administered by The Management Committee. This Management Committee comprises of a President, Secretary, Treasurer and two Committee Members. The President of this association is Mr. Rabin Sharma, the Secretary is Mr. David Sukhu, the Treasurer is Mr. Bobby Rupie and the two Committee Members are Mr. Tiram Niranjan and Mr. Raj Mathura. This committee has work and will continue to diligently with it's members to ensure the continued growth and success of this association.
This Association also has a Disciplinary Committee, a Rules Committee and a Fundraising Committee.
The objective of the West Indian Softball Association is to create an environment where one can play the game of top-notch Softball Cricket in a disciplined, competitive and uniformed atmosphere and where they will exhibit at all times a true identity of sportsmanship.
The Softball Cricket season begins in April and ends in October. We have three (3) major competitions in five divisions. The first competition is the 25 Overs Round Robin, then immediately followed by the 30 Overs Round Robin, and the 25 Overs Knock-Out. There are also many other Knock-Out Competitions such as the 15 Overs Knock-Out and the 20 Overs Knock-Out Competitions.
Through our commitment, dedication, experience, and discipline West Indian Softball Association (WISA) has established a relationship with our community that will last a lifetime!
